Ranger-led talks cover bats, spiders, owls at park

ASTORIA — Learn about bats, owls and spiders during ranger-led talks at Lewis and Clark National Historical Park beginning at 6 p.m. Friday. Tours will be offered every 20 minutes through 7:40 p.m.

Most Popular

Park rangers will be stationed at three stops along a 1/4-mile path, telling stories and presenting facts about these three creatures. Crafts and treats will also be offered outside the Fort Clatsop Visitor Center.

Attendees at this free event are asked to bring a flashlight and wear sturdy shoes, costumes are also welcome. For more information, visit www.nps.gov/lewi.
