Pianist Jennifer Goodenberger will perform piano selections on Saturday at the Cannon Beach Community Church.

ASTORIA — Pianist Jennifer Goodenberger will celebrate the release of a new recording with a performance of original compositions at the Charlene Larsen Center for the Performing Arts at 3 p.m. Sunday.

Goodenberger’s first concert at the Larsen Center was in 1979. Her newest recording, “Sound Within,” was created for yoga and meditation. As part of the show, she will discuss techniques she used to craft the music, joined by yoga instructor Sally Anderson.

Goodenberger will also be joined by Shelley Loring on flute and Kim Angelis on violin. Her niece, soprano Noelle Goodenberger, will also perform vocal compositions premiered by Noelle’s parents in 1989.
