ASTORIA — Local duo Gabrielle Macrae and Barry Southern, of the band Horsenecks, will perform at a contra dance event set for the Astoria Arts and Movement Center at 7 p.m. Sunday.

Dancing will be led by Dave Ambrose, acting as the caller and teaching lessons. A beginner lesson will commence at 7 p.m., followed by music and dancing at 7:15 p.m.
