PORTLAND — Musicians and music businesses on the North Coast are invited to complete the Oregon Music Census, a statewide project measuring the local economic impact of independent music.

The survey, authorized by the Oregon Legislature in 2022, will use responses on the economic and demographic scope of music programs to direct policies and funding.

Responses are sought from educators, music retailers, live venue owners, studio engineers and concert promoters in addition to artists. All responses will be recorded anonymously. For more information and to participate, visit www.oregonmusiccensus.org.
