Musician Kathryn Claire will perform as part of a trio in both Ilwaco and Astoria.

Winter Songs, a performance by violinist Kathryn Claire, will pay tribute to the season’s shortest days and longest nights, with two shows set to weave together original songs, instrumentals and cover tunes.

Claire will be joined by Don Henson on piano and percussion and Sid Ditson on violin and viola for performances at River City Playhouse in Ilwaco at 4 p.m. Saturday and at Charlene Larsen Center for the Performing Arts at 3 p.m. Sunday.
