ASTORIA – North Coast Chorale will perform “Colors of Winter,” a series of concerts set for 7 p.m. Friday and 4 p.m. Sunday at the Charlene Larsen Center for the Performing Arts.

The concert will feature creative choral pieces which relate to the theme of musical color, the certain quality of sound in a particular piece. The show’s first half will include selections from Benjamin Britten’s “Ceremony of Carols,” themed “Colors in Sound.” During the second half, the group will bring attention to winter poetry.

Then, at 3 p.m. Wednesday, the Larsen Center will host its second annual fundraising event, which will also held at the Seaport Masonic Lodge No. 7, featuring chef-prepared appetizers from Fulio’s and sweets by Table 360.

Admission for the fundraising event is $100 per person, with other donor options available, while admission for each concert is $17. Tickets for the group’s Nuns 4 Fun Christmas Bingo can also be reserved for $20.

Attendees at the fundraiser are asked to RSVP by Friday. For more information or to purchase tickets, contact 503-338-9132 or visit www.partnersforthepac.org.
