CANNON BEACH – Artist Ben Rosenberg will offer a printmaking workshop focused on the creation of monotypes, prints made by pressing paper against painted or inked surfaces, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday at the Cannon Beach History Center & Museum.

Rosenberg describes monotypes as “happy accidents,” though their spontaneity is grounded in a distinctive process. This workshop will focus on these highly individual creations, which much like paintings, cannot be exactly replicated once made.
