Opening a new monthlong show featuring four artists working in oil paint and cold beeswax. Becky Chappell, an artist and teacher living in Nehalem, loves painting the outdoors and abstracts. Kitty Paino, a multimedia artist, experiences her work as a rewarding psychological and spiritual journey, which in turn makes experimenting easier.
Kathy Samsel, of Seaside, is primarily a photographer. She spends hours looking at the angle, shape, action and design for the story she wants to tell. Gheri Fouts, fascinated by impressionism, takes on the challenge of expressing the emotion found in painting in a new medium. The gallery will also show cards, prints, clay, jewelry and baskets.
