Seaside Art Walk December 2021

A triple sterling silver, brass and gold ring created by Nikki Hatt will be on display at Fairweather House and Gallery.

The Seaside First Saturday Art Walk will be held Saturday from 5 to 7 p.m. in the Historic Gilbert District between Broadway Street and Holladay Drive in downtown Seaside with dedicated parking on the corner of Oceanway Street and Holladay Drive.

SunRose Gallery, 606 Broadway St.

Featuring new oceanic oil paintings from longtime resident artist Mimi Cernyar Fox, artsy porcelain fish from Vicki Sullivan and new china earrings handcrafted by SunRose co-owner Cathy Tippin. David Crabtree and SunRose co-owner Ray Coffey will perform live music.

TigerLily Gallery, 613 Broadway St.

Featuring Washington artist Bonnie Junell’s Northwest oil paintings.

Pacific Heirloom Art and Collectables, 608 Broadway St.

Featuring a collection of vintage Japanese Bristol fine china, hand painted with platinum and silver trim. Also featuring Christmas Spode china.

Fairweather House and Gallery, 612 Broadway St.

Opening reception for “A GOOD FIT,” an exhibition highlighting Northwest makers and crafters. Featuring woodturning by Mike Brown, wood sculptures by Martin Conley, furniture maker Stuart Dittbrenner, jewelry by metalsmith Nikki Hatt, fused glass by Bob Heath, art blocks by Diana Nadal and textiles by Jeanne Walker. Neal Maine, a naturalist, biologist and photographer, will give a lecture at 6 p.m.

The Whet Spot, 12 N. Holladay Drive

The taproom features Northwest beers, wines, ciders, as well as an ever-changing gallery display of local abstract and whimsical art.

Each room in the hotel features original art and prints from a curated list of Portland artists.
