Pulitzer Prize winner to perform at Liberty Theatre

ASTORIA — A conversation and reading with Pulitzer Prize winning poet Jericho Brown will take place Nov. 5 at 7 p.m. at the Liberty Theatre in downtown Astoria.

Ticket are available online. The event is made possible by the Writer’s Guild of Astoria, a literary nonprofit.

A poetry contest will be open to residents in connection with Brown’s visit. Winning poets will have the opportunity to present their work on stage during the event. Poetry submissions are due Oct. 1.
