Clatsop County Fair will host big-name musicians

Anyway you want it, you might just dance at the Clatstop County Fair this weekend.
Country music and rock ‘n’ roll fans have the chance to see two big-name musicians perform at the fairgrounds Friday and Saturday night.
Christian country music artist Josh Turner, best known for his hit songs “Long Black Train,” “Your Man,” and “Why Don’t We Just Dance,” will be taking the stage Friday, July 30 with special guest Jessie Leigh.
Steve Augeri is an American rock singer and served as the lead vocalist for the rock group Journey from 1998 to 2006. The iconic rock band recorded “Remember Me,” for the “Armageddon” soundtrack in 1998 with Augeri. Saturday, July 31 he’ll perform material from his career as well as new songs featuring “The Steve Augeri Band.”
Gates open for both concerts at 6 p.m., the shows will begin at 7 p.m. Tickets are available online and select local businesses. The Clatsop County Fair & Expo is located by the Walluski Loop, just three miles from Astoria.
