Art fundraiser set for Astoria

ASTORIA — Astoria Visual Arts will host an art sale/fundraiser from noon to 4 p.m. Thursday to Sunday and June 4-5 at the gallery, 1000 Duane St.

The sale is part of the organization’s first “Artful Jumble,” where attendees can buy donated items to create new art. Proceeds benefit Astoria Visual Arts.

Gently used art items and equipment like books, frames, canvases, small tables and textiles will be available. Astoria Visual Arts members will have early access to the sale and free items.
