Oregon’s North Coast and southwest Washington offer some of the Pacific Northwest’s most breathtaking sights and best outdoor recreation. The number of adventures available to both locals and visitors is endless, with options ranging from surfing the Pacific Ocean, to hiking alongside ancient trees.

As the coronavirus pandemic has impacted all aspects of our lives in recent months, getting outdoors to exercise is more important than ever before. While the Columbia-Pacific region is popular year-round for exploring the outdoors, the region’s endless beaches, numerous trails and close proximity to the water have all become mainstays for socially-distanced fun.

This year and the next remain unprecedented, as no one can definitively predict what other changes the coronavirus pandemic will bring. However, the Columbia-Pacific’s outdoor recreation will still be here, regardless of what is happening in the world.

Whether you’re stopping by in the area for a few days or are here to stay, we hope these stories inspire you to get outdoors and find your own adventure. The Columbia-Pacific is waiting.
