Port Townsend author to speak at Seaside, Cannon Beach bookstores

Port Townsend author Erica Bauermeister will speak at noon on Wednesday, June 19, at Beach Books in Seaside’s June Lunch in the Loft and at 7 p.m. at the Cannon Beach Book Company.
Bauermeister will discuss her fourth novel, “The Scent Keeper.”
The novel is a moving and evocative coming-of-age story about childhood stories, families lost and found and how a fragrance conjures memories capable of shaping the course of our lives.
Lunch at Beach Books is $35 and includes a catered lunch by Dough Dough Bakery and a signed copy of Bauermeister’s book. Lunch alone is $10. Call 503-738-3500 to reserve a spot.
Bauermeister’s talk in Cannon Beach is free and includes champagne and homemade treats.
