ASTORIA — The Labor Temple’s monthly comedy night, Cheap Whiskey and Dirty Jokes, brings the best comics from around the Pacific Northwest. This month’s event takes place 8:30 p.m. Friday, March 15.

The host is Chad Alan Gemma; the headliner is Nariko Ott. Other comedians include John Gallucci, Rachelle Cochran, Jake Breslauer and Micah Dugan.

There will be a $5 cover for this 21+ show. Doors open at 8 p.m. The show contains adult content.

Ott is Portland’s Funniest Person of 2016. He is on “Laughs” on FOX, “Unprotected Sets” on EPIX, and is a writer for The Hard Times and host of the history/pop culture podcast “What’s More Metal?”

Dugan is a comic, journalist, poet and pop culturist. You may know him from his pop-up Asian food cart “side wok” and numerous appearances in print … on-the-record and elsewhere.

Breslauer has performed standup across the country. He’s had numerous articles published in the Huffington Post under his blog titled “Satirical Nonsense.” He lives in Portland and tours regularly as a standup comedian.

Cochran has shared her observational comedy and boundless energy at Seattle’s Highlarious Comedy Festival, Sacramento’s Comedy Festival and Harvey’s Comedy Club. She was recently recognized by a waiter at 10 Barrel as “that one who didn’t do so bad” at Portland’s Funniest.

The Labor Temple is at 934 Duane St.
