Astoria — The Astoria Event Center will host this year’s Winter Boutique Market from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 13 and Sunday, Dec. 14 featuring a select group of vendors. Port of Call Bistro & Bar will provide the bar service with the theme “Wine and Chocolate.”

“We are thrilled with the quality of vendors participating,” said organizer Cyndi Mudge. “This is an intimate and cozy show where shoppers can relax with a glass of wine, enjoy a chair massage and search for those special, one-of-a-kind gifts.”

Participating vendors include Judith Altruda, who has a specialty line of jewelry at RiverSea Gallery. She will feature other works from her collection at the market.

Vicki Sullivan will showcase her finely crafted porcelain. Alan Matta will be participating with his cigar box guitars. Jana Matteson, a dump truck driver by profession, is a metal artist and will feature her home décor and functional art pieces.

Mary Altieri, the Goat Soap Girl, will be vending along with her mother, Cynthia Altieri, who has a coastal line of jewelry made from shells and driftwood gathered from daily beach combing explorations.

This will also be one of the last opportunities to purchase soaps and lotions from Rick Smith of Sunset Beach Products. Isa Haverlan with Allow Your Body To Heal is bringing her chair massage, and Kendra Ingalls will be selling lavender products to complement the massage services.

A catering chef for Port of Call Bistro & Bar is currently developing a fun line of chocolate-themed appetizers, both sweet and savory. Wine and other beverages will also be available.
