Have fun at Community Egg Hunt, Treasure Dive

SEASIDE The Sunset Empire Park and Recreation District will hold two special events this weekend.

The annual Seaside Community Egg Hunt boasts over 6,000 brightly colored candy-filled eggs scattered in Broadway Field and Broadway Park. There is a special golden ticket in an egg in each hunt area. This free event will be held rain or shine Saturday, April 19. At 10 a.m., visit with the Easter Bunny. The egg hunt starts at 10:30 a.m., with the youngest age group (0 to 2 years old) starting. Other age groups are as follows: 3 to 4, 5 to 6, 7 to 8, 9 to 10.

Then, get ready for the Aquatic Treasure Dive at the Sunset Pool, 1140 Broadway. Ages 7 to 9 will dive at 1 p.m. Ages 10 to 17 will dive at 1:45 p.m. The cost is $2 to participate.
