ASTORIA – Sons of Malarkey is a three- to five-piece band playing primarily traditional Irish/Scottish songs and originals. The group’s core instruments are guitar, bass, violin and mandolin. Traditional instruments such as tin whistle, bodhran and banjo are also incorporated. As space and sound permit, the drums are brought in either low-key or energetic for a full rocking experience.
