Old Town Framing Company announces the opening of an exclusive exhibit at a reception from 5 to 9 p.m. Saturday, June 9, during Astoria’s Arts Night Out. Mixed media original art works created by Linda Taylor will be shown. Meet the artist and enjoy refreshments of the day.

Taylor is an Idaho artist who has been painting for more than 25 years. Her abstract works are primarily inks and acrylics, but occasional pieces include bits of found objects. Her perspective on the abstract art form is refreshing and bold, with designs that are rhythmic and resonant with layered colors and shapes, according to Dulcye Taylor of Old Town Framing Company.

Old Town Framing Company is located at 1287 Commercial St. and provides custom framing services, limited edition prints, cards and photo frames. Store hours are 9:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Mondays through Fridays, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturdays and 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sundays during Astoria Sunday Market months.
