Writers’ conference to feature Ann Rule as keynote speaker

SEATTLE – Ann Rule will be a keynote speaker at the Pacific Northwest Writers Association’s 49th annual summer conference, July 15 to 18 at the Hilton Seattle Airport & Conference Center.

With more than 20 New York Times bestsellers, Rule is considered one of the foremost true crime writers in the world. Her books focus on the victims’ stories, the detectives and prosecutors involved in the cases, and the “whys” behind criminal behavior. She is currently at work on her latest book, “Green River, Running Red,” the story of the recently solved Seattle case of the Green River killings.

Rule will speak at the conference’s closing buffet dinner party at 7 p.m. Saturday, July 17. Individual tickets for the dinner are $60.
