ASTORIA — Astoria Visual Arts is seeking salmon-related artwork for a community exhibit in honor of the 28th annual FisherPoets Gathering in February.

Artists may submit between one and three pieces made using any media and in any size, keeping in mind that space is limited so work that is over 36 inches wide must be approved by the gallery.

Artwork needs to be delivered on Feb. 5 from 4 to 6 p.m. or Feb. 6 from 10 a.m. to noon or ahead of time by arrangement. Pieces do not need to be for sale. The exhibit will open Feb. 8 with a 5 p.m. reception during the Astoria Second Saturday Art Walk and run through March 2.
