ASTORIA — A disaster preparedness workshop at the Astoria Senior Center will offer tips on what to do before, during and after an earthquake or tsunami.

The two-hour session is being offered from 2 to 4 p.m. Saturday by Exploring New Concepts of Retirement Education (ENCORE) Learn, a membership organization serving people 50 and older, and the Clatsop County Emergency Management Team.

Topics include how to stay safe at home, planning evacuation routes and where to obtain resources, utilities and services like electricity, gas and water. Inundation maps and other information will also be available.
