Competing for this year’s Iron Chef title will be last year’s winner, John Sowa of the Silver Salmon Grille in Astoria; Jordan Wilson of Surf 2 Soul, an Astoria food cart; and Johana Tovar of the Stephanie Inn in Cannon Beach.
Their challenge will be to open two black boxes containing secret ingredients over two rounds of cooking competition.
Emceeing will be chefs Bob Neroni and Josh Archibald. This year’s lineup of judges — chef Maximillian Metzger, Patrick McKee, Mike Downey and Mark Kujala — will be joined by a guest as attendees get a chance to bid on a panel spot during a live auction.
