CANNON BEACH — A potluck and community gathering at the Cannon Beach History Center and Museum will feature local historian and storyteller Peter Lindsey at 4 p.m. Wednesday.

Lindsey is the author of “Just Movin’ the Water Around,” about the history of the Cannon Beach dory fleet, and “Comin’ Over the Rock,” an anecdotal history of Cannon Beach by an author who has lived in the town for more than 60 years.

He will be joined by longtime locals as they share stories and memories.

Attendees are invited to bring their favorite food dish to share for this potluck event. The event is free, with donations welcome to support Lindsey in getting “Comin’ Over the Rock” reprinted.
