NEHALEM — North County Recreation District will host a new exhibit for September at its gallery, 36155 9th St.

The exhibit, “Practicing Magic,” features paintings from four different regional artists, including Chris Williams, Christine Eagon, Robin Clear and Goldea See. The paintings explore myth, magic and whimsy through portals, totems, botanicals, gods and fairies.

Visitors can view the exhibit starting Tuesday. The gallery is open Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Social distancing and face coverings are required for attendees.
