Now is the time to show us what you’ve seen — and photographed — this year. Our 2019 Coast Weekend Photo Contest is happening now, and we’re eager to see the coasts of northern Oregon and southern Washington through your eyes.

Whether it’s a classic sunset, a snapshot of our wildlife, a glimpse of our architecture or a simple smile caught on film, we want to see it.

Coast Weekend encourages you to take this opportunity to reflect on the year and dig through the memories captured on camera from the past 12 months.

As a reminder, the competition closes next Sunday, Dec. 15. Photos taken anywhere between Rockaway Beach to Ocean Park are eligible.

Every submissions must include details about where and when the photo was taken and who is in the photo, if applicable.

The top 10 photos will appear in the Jan. 2, 2020, issue of Coast Weekend. The top 25 photos will run on our website.

Judges from The Astorian will decide first through third place awards for photographs submitted.

The public can vote online for a People’s Choice Award winner starting Monday, Dec. 16, and closing Sunday, Dec. 22.
