Murder mystery comes to life on Astoria High School’s stage

ASTORIA – You’ve played the game. You’ve watched the cult classic film. Now, it’s time to enjoy a cast of high school students as they bring the popular board game to life in a theatrical rendering of “Clue: On Stage,” presented by AHS Theatre.

Astoria High School’s theatre program will present “Clue” at 7 p.m. Nov. 1, 2, 8, and 9 at the school’s auditorium. Doors open at 6:30 p.m.

In this comedy, six strangers with a shared secret are invited to a suspicious dinner party at the imposing Boddy Mansion. They are subsequently given colorful pseudonyms, weapons and a motive for murder. Characters race through the various rooms in a flurry of mystery and mayhem to find the murderer before the body count stacks up. Chock-full of hidden identities and witty repartee, “Clue” is a comedy for the whole family.

Tickets can be purchased at the door. Admission is $10 for adults and $5 for children 12 and younger. Concessions will be available for purchase.
