OCEAN PARK, Wash. — The South Pacific County Humane Society in Long Beach, Wash., is sponsoring a “Give Our Beach Pets a Chance” medical fundraiser for the local homeless pets in need.

The event will be held at 5:30 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 20, at the Peninsula Moose Lodge, 25915 U St. in Ocean Park, Wash.

There will be noshes, games and prizes. A silent auction gives our guests ample opportunities to sample the rich diversity of offerings from our community. All of the evening’s proceeds will benefit the Humane Society’s Homeless Pets Medical Fund.

The ticket price for the fundraiser is $25. Tickets include entry, heavy hors d’oeuvres, a “Doggie Bag of Swag” and the chance to participate in all the evening’s auctions and games. A “Hair of the Dog” no-host cocktail bar will be available through the Peninsula Moose Lodge.

You can purchase tickets through beachpets.com or stop by the Shelter, 330 Second St. N.E. in Long Beach, Wash. The Shelter is open 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., Tuesday through Saturday.
