ASTORIA — “Holiday Music Magic,” featuring Astoria’s own “rat pack,” is back. Deac Guidi and LaMar Blackner from the original Astoria Rat Pack Team will come back to the Astor Street Opry Company stage for two shows only at 7 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 11 and 18.

A seasonal tradition, the ASOC’s “Holiday Music Magic” ran for many years until 2006 when third rat packer Tony Stoutenburg moved to Wisconsin. Fellow rat packers Guidi and Blackner hit the road seeking stardom and fame with their own two-man show. They had a long run in Elko, Nevada, where they were declared the “new” Dean Martin and Frank Sinatra of the day, but they decided to return to the town where it all began.

Come witness as the boys reunite, rediscover their love for holiday music, and seek a third partner for their own version of the Astoria rat pack.

The night will feature special guests and drop-in visitors, including ChrisLynn Taylor, Markus Brown, Dena Tuveng, Ashley Mundel, Jordan Griffin, and Allison Wils-King on piano.

Tickets cost $10 and $15. Call 503-325-6194 or visit www.astorstreetoprycompany.com
