Like ASOCs annual summer melodrama Shanghaied in Astoria, the Starving Artist Faire first began at the downtown Eagles Hall. It has grown to be an annual tradition for the winter holidays. This local arts and crafts holiday fair features more than 50 homegrown artists, all with a reputation for quality one-of-a-kind gifts, including photography, collage art, paintings, decor, soap, wreaths, jewelry, pottery and more.
