RAYMOND, Wash. – The American Cancer Society Relay For Life of Willapa Bay gives everyone in the community a chance to help the organization save lives and create a world with less cancer and more birthdays. Register your team today by visiting www.relayforlife.org/willapabaywa. The next Relay Rally will be held at 6 p.m. Tuesday, April 10, at Raymond High School, for those who want to get more information about how to form a team or how to become involved in Relay For Life.

Former and current cancer patients, those who have lost a loved one to cancer, families, businesses, faith-based and civic organizations, and anyone wanting to make a difference in the fight against cancer are welcome to take part. Relay For Life of Willapa Bay takes place at the Raymond High School from 7 p.m. Friday, June 15, until 7 p.m. Saturday, June 16.

Relay For Life events are held overnight as individuals and teams camp out with the goal of keeping at least one team member on the track at all times during the event. Teams do most of their fundraising before the event, but some teams also hold creative fundraisers at their camp sites during Relay. Relay brings together people from all walks of life to further the American Cancer Society’s efforts to save lives by helping people stay well, by helping them get well, by finding cures and by fighting back.
