Craig Lesley to give reading in Seaside

SEASIDE – At 1 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 6, noted Northwest writer Craig Lesley will be on hand at the Seaside Public Library Community Room, 1131 Broadway, for an author reading and presentation.

Lesley, author of such novels as “Winterkill,” “Riversong” and “The Sky Fisherman,” will read primarily from his recently-published memoir, “Burning Fence,” that depicts his life in Eastern Oregon and his family challenges as both father and son. He will also read from new work in progress. Beach Books will have additional copies of the author’s books available for purchase and signing.
Lesley’s awards for his writing include three Pacific Northwest Booksellers Association Awards and the Oregon Book Award. He is currently senior writer-in-residence at Portland State University.
