CANNON BEACH – The final deadline for the Cannon Beach Arts Association’s Individual Artist Grant is June 15. Artists, musicians, performers and writers are all encouraged to apply for the $2,500 grant. The artist must be a part of the Cannon Beach community, producing or actively exhibiting or performing within the city or document short-term residence for the duration of the project proposed.

The Artist Grant is intended to promote the work of local artists while providing the support necessary to expand their creative process. The artist must provide a return to the community by means of temporary exhibit, performance, community education or publication.

All applications must be postmarked by June 15, or dropped off at the Cannon Beach Gallery by 4 p.m. that day. The gallery is located at 1064 S. Hemlock and is open from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Thursdays through Mondays. The mailing address is P.O. Box 684, Cannon Beach, OR 97110.
