The exhibit features creations in a variety of mediums and styles, from paintings to mosaics, realism to abstract. “I don’t like to be stuck in any one style, as it is more of a creative process to explore on the theory of one’s muse,” Harmon said. He has traveled the country over the past 25 years, creating mosaics for landmark buildings, schools and private residences. “Although I have taken many art classes and have taught around the country, I still like to think of myself as self-taught,” he said. His work has been featured in publications such as Vogue, San Francisco Moda and the cover of St. Pauls Art and Entertainment, as well as Visual Merchandising and Store Design magazine. His work is inspired by ancient Greece and Rome, as well as the simplicity, color and design of Matisse.
