– Games and booths must be family-friendly and the organizers recommend keeping any “fees” or charges for activity affordable.
– No duplication of activities – first come, first served.
– Booth operators are to provide their own staffing and equipment (tables, tents, etc.).
– Booth operators are responsible to keep their areas clean and free of trash.
– Booth set-up can begin at 2:30 p.m. and tear-down must be completed by 9:30 p.m.
The organizers are especially looking for carnival type games, such as fishing game, duck pond, dart game (“sticky” darts only – no points), tossing games, dunk tank, bubble fun, face painting, product samples or information/educational outreach.
Among those already committed are the Kiwanis wood sales, “sand art” and Living Historians. Among those planned are a petting zoo and the Oyster Shooters band. The band will be taking two one-half hour breaks and there will be “filler’ entertainment such as singers, dancers, jump ropers, jugglers and the like.
If you would like to participate as a vendor or entertainer, contact Laura Kaim, Street Fair Coordinator, at (503) 738-6391 or info@seasidechamber.com for booth reservations and entertainment spots. Space is limited.
