Enjoy tea and more at Blue Scorcher's tea tasting

ROSBURG, Wash. – The women of Grays River Friendship Circle have combined their sixth annual Spring Tea and Luncheon, “Keeping You In Stitches and Tea,” with a display of local residents’ needlework and a PowerPoint slide show history of Grays River Valley pioneers. Local historian Carlton Appelo will narrate the history. The tea will take place at Rosburg Community Hall.

The Spring Tea will include a full luncheon of assorted sandwiches, fresh fruits and vegetables with dips and a dessert of cookies, tea and punch.

Doors will open at noon Sunday, May 18. Luncheon will begin at 12:30 p.m., with the program following. Again this year, there will be many donated prizes for a raffle and winners may choose their prizes from those displayed. Raffle tickets are $1 per chance.

There is a minimum donation of $5 per person, at the door. The Rosburg Community Hall is located at 28 Rosburg Community Hall Road. To get there, take State Route 4 to Rosburg, turn south onto Altoona Pillar Rock Road, then turn west just before the bridge onto Rosburg Community Hall Road.
