‘Surf’s Up’ at First Saturday Art Walk in Seaside

SEASIDE – “Surf’s Up” as Sandy Cove Inn returns to the Seaside Art Walk from 5 to 8 p.m. Saturday, May 3. Galleries and stores in and near Seaside invite the public to mingle with artists during the monthly First Saturday Art Walk presented by the Seaside Chamber of Commerce and sponsored by The Reserve at Gearhart and Seaside-Sun.com, who award ribbons each month for Best of Show, Most Creative and Most Unusual. Maps are available Saturday evening at any of the participating locations with an Art Stop sign out front or can be downloaded from the Events and Entertainment calendar page at www.seasidechamber.com

Joe Bush will be doing a painting demonstration, and there will be live music by Vicki Landis. Several other artisans will be on hand, as well. Refreshments will be catered by Connie Bush. There is ample parking behind the building.

The coffee shop will be open during Art Walk hours and walkers may want to stop in for a hot coffee or tea.

Lynn Bean will exhibit watercolors and her award-winning sculpture, “Bunkhouse Bronco,” along with others of her painted ponies. Other artists will be featured, as well, and there will be refreshments and live music.
