Astoria Music Festival Music Director Keith Clark announces auditions for positions in the AMF Chamber Orchestra for summer 2008.

A limited number of vacancies exist for members of the violin, viola, cello and bass sections. Experienced professional orchestral musicians are invited to apply for these positions or to be placed on the substitute list.

Past festival musicians have included principal players and members of the Oregon Symphony, San Diego Symphony, Los Angeles Philharmonic, Sacramento Symphony, Omsk (Russia) State Philharmonic and other major orchestras.

The 2008 festival will include symphonic and operatic music of Beethoven, Bernstein, Mendelssohn and Verdi June 20 through 29.
