Haward will exhibit “Repose,” a rendering done in charcoal, while Bennett will show an oil painting, “Young Nude.”
This exhibition, the second held, is the only one of its kind to be held at a community college in Oregon. It attracts artists from around the world whose work is exemplary of contemporary figurative drawing, painting and print work. Margaret Bullock, curator of collections and special exhibitions at the Tacoma Art Museum, juried this year’s exhibition. Bullock carefully selected 68 pieces from more than 360 submitted works of art. Submissions came from around the world, and work selected covers four continents.
