The interactive and improvisational dinner theater is being produced by Jenna Austin of Paint ‘N the Town Red. Proceeds benefit a new nonprofit foundation focused on helping locally-owned and operated small businesses.
Those wishing to audition are asked to bring a snapshot or photo of yourself to the auditions. There will be no cold script readings. Improvisation, writing and group scene creation will be required as part of the audition process.
Performances will be Saturdays, May 31, July 26 and August 30. Participation in all three shows is not required. Each show may feature different characters and cameo performances by local celebrities. Rehearsals will be held at 7 p.m. March 24 and 31 (shanty sing), April 7, 14 and 28 (shanty sing), May 5, 12, 19, 22, 26 (shanty sing), 28 and 30.
