The group, founded in 2005, attempts to present a spontaneous field of sounds, bringing together players from very diverse backgrounds and experiences, with an aspiration to dwell on sound itself as it unfolds in a fragile balance of line and pulse. Performers are Lori Goldston on cello, Angelina Baldoz on trumpet, Jaison Scott on drums and Torben Ulrich on text/voice.
Goldston was born in New York City and is a frequent collaborator with dancers and filmmakers.
Baldoz performs and creates music in the Seattle area. Her distinctive trumpet playing has been presented in collaboration with many musicians and movement artists.
